Many of us enjoy yoga classes as a wellness practice. Like yoga classes, Yoga therapy offers us a chance to participate in our growth and self healing. Yoga therapy offers individualized guidance and care working in a one on one setting using the modality of yoga (Asana (poses), Philosophy, Meditation, Breathwork) to help create a custom plan for healing from illness or injury or managing and improving chronic conditions. Yoga therapy has been proven to provide physical, mental and emotional support by assisting in healing and relief from injury as well as sleep difficulties, stress, anxiety/ depression, postpartum health, autoimmune conditions, cancer support and more. In a comfortable and confidential space a support plan will be created together to further you on your journey to wellness and thriving. You do not need any yoga experience to benefit from yoga therapy.
Therapeutic Group classes
I also offer Therapeutic Group classes where we can focus together on a certain area of the body or a particular condition such as stress or sleep difficulties. Different from a general class that works on centering and conditioning the whole body/ mind in a non-specific way, Group Therapy workshops give us time to go deeper into specific areas and have time to ask/ and answer questions that come up in the group. The community setting offers us an opportunity to learn from ourselves as well as our peers who are experiencing similar conditions and challengesand seeking similar goals.

Similar to Group Therapeutics. Retreats are an longer opportunity to Dive deep into practice and focus on our self healing and wellness through yoga.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR
My Practice is based out of Rhode Island. I have been loving and practicing Yoga since 1991 and Ayurveda since 2011, Yoga and Ayurveda have helped me with overcoming anxiety and fatigue from autoimmune issues. I am an
EYT200 Hatha Yoga Instructor teaching since 2011. I am currently working towards my 500hr RYT with Yoga Medicine. In 2018 I began my Yoga Therapy and Meditation facilitator training with Breathing Deeply Yoga Therapy School. I am currently an IAYT Yoga Therapist Candidate. I will begin my practicum in 2020. I would love to share this practice with you.
